Karen Poko is a nonprofit strategist and transformational leader with over a decade of experience driving growth, innovation, and client-centered solutions. With a foundation in equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA), Karen builds environments where stakeholders thrive and organizations achieve lasting impact. Curiosity, adaptability, and a focus on social innovation define her approach to leadership. She leverages resources, and data to make decisions that generate measurable, and sustainable results.
Throughout her career, Karen has led high-impact initiatives that streamline operations, cultivate high-performing teams, and amplify mission-driven outcomes. In director-level positions and board roles, she has developed infrastructure for stakeholder retention, including communication frameworks, relationship management systems, and engagement strategies rooted in sector best practices. These efforts have strengthened partnerships, fostered loyalty, and ensured long-term sustainability.
Karen’s expertise spans program design, and optimizing revenue growth through strategic stakeholder engagement, cross-sector collaboration, and scalable models that connect organizational goals with stakeholder needs. Karen's work has reinforced governance through streamlined decision-making, optimized structures, and aligning the needs of various stakeholders to maximize impact and long-term partner retention.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Science (honors) with a minor in psychology and is pursuing executive education in management, focusing on strategy, innovation, governance, and high-impact leadership. Karen’s work bridges practical operational excellence with visionary, scalable solutions that drive meaningful social and organizational change, bringing this expertise to her role at CCDI.
